Sarvodaya and DNet of Bangladesh have joined hands for a collaborative research for virtual village project. The MOU was signed on August 28th during the telecente family workshop in Rangpur, Bangladesh.

Encouraging happenings at Kiththammahara and Mayfield schools

It is encouraging to note that enthusiasm of teachers in the school connected with the project. The teachers are showing an interest to learn about educational CDs provided by the National Institute of Education, and use ICT in their teaching practices. The kithtammahara school is located 35 Km from the capital Colombo. It has 365 students enrolled with 21 teachers.
